iam due by aug 28th.i wanna know regarding iucd)(copper-t).after delivery wen can we implant copper-t?also can it be done at the same time after delivery?is it done by operation?
this is our first baby ,we wanna keep a gap of 5-6 yrs for the next one,so i tink copper-t is more good .b4 we were using condoms and safe period,that was for an year only.we both dont wannna opt for pills ,i tink it has too much side effects.
so pls gimme geniune reply frm those who already used copper-t and its side effects.?

copper t

1.it will not b inserted immidiatly after delivery only after ur 6 weeks chk up will it b done
2.it is nt an operation it will b an insertion which will hardly take 10 to 15mnts under local anesthesia and u can choose in frm 5 .10 and 15 yrs
3.side effects include heavy flow and at times infection
4.pills donot have side effects if ur type is found out properly and if ur with in 35 yrs it is recommended as it is the only contra wth zero side effect ..i myself used pill for 2 yrs with no side effect

how long can it b used will b guided by ur doc as lot of factors depend on it and there r many modern pills with differnt combinations which r light ...ni i didnt put on wt but initially 3 mnths though i did put on weight but honey im very conscious of my health i immidiatly exercised nad put it dwn ..so blaming on pills for wt gain is a lame excuse not to work out

thanx for info dear.one of my frndz told taht pills lead to weight gain and since iam already on heavy side i will weigh even more.did that happen to you anytime?how long can we use pill at a strech.?is it ok for more than 3yrs?

horlicks with milk

i know for sure horlicks is absolutely fine with milk.. but in pregnancy i was adviced to have mother' s horlicks since it has DHA and some other stuff that are good for the baby...
