Single Parenting:single parents in hyderabad

Name: gopal I live in Hyderabad and I was wondering if any single parents in the city would be interested in forming a support group where we could meet, discuss issues (or just talk about the latest book we' ve read!), have our children meet each other etc. We could benefit from a ' play circle' where we can have each take turns looking after the kids so that the rest of the parents can perhaps go out for an evening. Tell me what you think of this idea!!!

I can relate to what your' re going through! All i can say right now is ' Life has to move on' and that your son needs you. I too have a 7 yr old son and am managing everything all alone. Lets see if we can meet up and bring ourkids together.

Thanks for your reply. I went abroad on overseas project and just returned , I am into IT as you. Now planninig to settle down here for a year or 2.My son in 51/2 yr old ,very cute boy ,but over active . Lots of sad incidents happened from past few months. so if you have already started single parents get together, please let me know . Me and my son would love to join.

Hi Sree.Yes, I am from Andhra, I´ m working, but from home.I am a professional psychotherapist.Right now I´ m staying with my parents.I tried to give my mail id, but apparently it is not allowed on this site.

Hi...i agree with u at time we do feel the need to have such group wherein u can discuss,disclose thought' s & difficulties of a single parent at the same time judge your moves as a single parent....but since i am not at hyderabad though my origin is hyd....though willing might not be a part of your this ideaology... :-(

Well, I find it emotionally difficult to bring up my cute 4yr old daughter. I ve the support of my parents....but its soo different these days. Feel helpless lot of times.

I am a SAP consultant (IT), but have started my own company which would help me to spend more time with my daughter.

My wive´ s death occured due to an undiagnosed viral infection which resulted after a tooth extraction.

How are you coping with ur life. Would really like to meet you if you would be interested.

I am from Hyd too,we moved back to india from USA after my husband passed away with brain tumor 21/2 months back,i am in deep depression and more over have 5 yr old boy to take care,need someone who is going through similar situation and expecting moral and emotional support.Please respond if you feel u can console and share my emotions.
