Sheeja replied. The best is buying booster high chair whci can be attached to any ordinary chair.Trisha is using fisher price aqurium high chair, but now shez not comfortable in that, so im gonna go for toddler booster high chair.
Hetal replied. i got her booster feeding chair that can be attached to ne chair and is folding.. we had been to short trips and this weekend too i am going on vacation and its a handy thing,,i will take along all the time.
so no way nirja is going to skip the habit of it !
also i bought this one with the fear, wat if she would not get habituated to it or wont sit well and may b i might end up discontinuing the high chair,,
so i tried both, for couple days.
also, the main thing i have carpet around my dining area, so i put her chair towards to kitchen area where there is no carpet and its easy for me to clean that way..
i had also got high chair, but i felt that when opened,it takes alot of space away from table. it dpends on your dining set though,,mine didnt allow me to put the legs of chair below it,it was higher,, and as far as nirja was concerned i personally felt she didnt feel that she was part of family or meal time when i opened the high chair and was abit away from the table..she didnt njoy her meals that way.
since the chair is closer than the high chair and can fit nicely inside the table,,she njoyed her food with lots of fun on the booster seat attached to chair !
she is pretty comfortable, i can place newhere i want,or just fix with safety belts to ne chair,,,esp to those restaurants chairs where there are no high chairs !!
remove the feedding tray and you can even fasten them to restaurants that have sitting sofas and no chairs !
so i discontinued high chair, gave it back after 4-5days of trying these things, and continued with this seat.
so that was my experience about it.there a lot of models that came out recently and are more compact than the one i have,,i might end up getting more compact one,,,
however they are pricy..also you can check amazon dot com in the feeding section, for great parental reviews on these high chairs and boosters.look for those that are compact and folding, requires least space when opened and closed,, and washable ofcourse and esp if you are buying booster, go for the one that can attached to chair and NOT TABLE ! table ones are not safe to use and suction might not be strong enough to hold a healthy grwing child.
so these were my experiences with both.
Priya replied. fisher price aquarium it is really nivce has good features like washable tray in dishwaher has a toy that fixes in so child can play while you prepare dinner

Breast pumps
I am using a medela pump to feed my baby when I am out. The medela breast pumps are really a good choice for the working moms. We can pump the milk regularly and can store it and use whenever needed.... - dalewhither [View Message]
evenflo elan breast pump
Buy this pump! It’s made my life so much easier. I always got sore with my old Medela Advanced, but that never happens with the Ameda Purely Yours Breast Pump. What really makes a difference is its ease of use. It’s really easy to switch between pumping phases and take apart to clean. Strongly recommend it for all mothers that pump daily.... - stellatylor [View Message]

HI Gayathri,
I used the puzzles, the wooden blocks for alphabets and numbers.... - Sheetal [View Message]
try this
As we discussed earlier in this forum I used magnetic alphabets , through which he has learnt alphabets within a week. And number within 4 days.
It is as like take the letter and stick to it where ever he goes more and ask him to search a particular letter. this worked very well for me.
all the best... - Manju [View Message]
