This is my first time here and i'm very impressed with it. My question is that I have polycystic ovaries and my doctor just gave me a chart to take body temperature regularly to see how i ovulate. I had my periods irregular a year ago and then it has been regular since last march so i didn't consult a doctor till last month when we were not getting any result of being pregnant. Shouldn't my doctor have prescibed some medicines? again, i have miss my period right now by 5 days so i'm worried whether my cycle is irregular again? or can i be pregnant? how should one feel in the beginning when she is pregnant? I'm sorry for asking many questions but i'm just so confused of what to do. Thanks a lot in advance for your time.

Hi Hema,
Thanks for sharing it with me. My heartiest wish that you are pregnant. If all other sysmptoms shows that you are pregnant except for home test then why don't you just go to doc and varify it? right now, my doc has told me to take my body temp everyday but it always shows around 96.8 to 97.2 so does that means I'm not ovulating properly and therefore can't concieve? I will surely keep you posted if I come across something that is helpful. Please you also keep in touch and let me know if u find out anything. Best of Luck.

Hi vaidehi,
i am sure, i will not be of any help, but i am in the same boat as yours. I have been having regular and irregular periods during the past 8 months of my marriage. I saw a doc here in US, but he has not suggested me anything.
Around 2 years ago,in another unconnected situation, we came to know that i have polycystic ovaries and my doc said that it would be normal if my menses goes wary. Now i have missed them for 20 days, except for home test, every other symptom says i am pregnant. I would really appreciate if any one, or you come across some answers. thanks a lot for your time
