sweety, about irregular bowels,,make them regular first to make your life easy. give him one serving of ne source of fibre in his every main meal. this will help his digestive system to clean on time. also include variety of juices in later noons, with a good snack..irregular bowels is a sign that your baby is not eating good fiber...
a one year healthy child should pass bowels atleast once or twice,,some go until thrice too..it dpends on their apetite too.
nothin much to talk about potty training,,once bowels are regular, its easier for you to make out his expressions about it. in your case, krish might be getting to conscious about where you are suddenlymaking him sit ,,,,and wont poop,as he is interested in observing wats next :),,
tickle his tummy a bit,,make him feel relaxed.divert him with some of his fav songs, or story books,,let him concentrate on wat he is supposed to do.let potty training be fun time of tickles and giggles.

also, kids take time to understand at first whats potty seat :) nirja when first i made her sit on adult seat with cushion cover,,she cried ! then i had to get potty seat of her own,,and she was fine,,the first day,she just smiled at me ! and was staring at me, didnt knew wat to do,got bored of all my efforts like giving shss noise, and all playful talks,,and ran away from me :)
gues wat, after leaving from my hands, she messed up my patio,,she poop there !
it took her 6-7 days, to understand that mommy is trying to make her do potty..she just needed a push from me, until i was in college i wasnt able to give good attention to herr, now at home,i changed her schedule, she eats breakfast well,no skips at all, and everything of her is on time !! so try to put your toddler in schedule that you are able to judge around about time,,if not the exact..

potty training has never been easy,,all we can say is give your child a good wide smile when he messes :)) and pee training is harder ! its faster than potty is :)) and you cant run with big belly :))

about sippy cup.if your baby has not shown comforts with nuby as well, get second nature feeding set from target or onestepahead dot com with transitional nipples ! they are excellent.i weaned nirja in a matter of 1month exact with that. though she fussd alot,,whenver she would see ne baby with bottle...but she finally did gaveup..see if that works for you.

keep trying,,nothin better if you keep yourself from washing bottles and throwing them in dishwasher..

these days m trying to make nirja learn to drink directly from glass,,i might sound abit fast in making her learn things, but for me, its needed,,,tommorrow i might end up in a situation that my dh or someone else has to take care of nirja totally,,and its quite possible that washing all those things,,, making her do potty will be immpossible job for him or neone..only mother can do that,,so no way, but for me to make nirja roll on her head over heels !

priya, consider your baby timings of potty..babies above 9months are easier to train for potty, as their bowels are 2-3times only ! and they express some expressions before doing potty..like in some cases, babies shake abit, or release gas,,in some they get excieted, run around as their bowels are clearing up,,some show signs of hunger,,and want to eat to pressurize the bowels towards gravity..so just note that..it will take a while for us to observe what is that expression.
same like i said to sweety,,its the time factor and it also dpending on how your baby is able to grasp what you are trying to explain,,and whether or not she understands it well that wat she is supposed to do on time..its takes time and alot of patience with a smile,,its more irritating :) than fun though.

Aaarti, you have mentioned wrong email of mine,no wonder y it bounced !! dear,,you mentioned hetalnagrajatyahoodotcom(just pasted from your post)... in the word NAGARAJ,,,A IS MISSING after G,, IN WHAT YOU MENTIONED,...
hetalnagAraj at yahoo dot com
my name is hetal, my dh name is Nagaraj and i have yahoo account :)
check the spellings and m sure you will reach me !
or post it here whatever is there,,if this is comfortable !

i got my silver tooth replaced,,so bad days for me until i finish all my sittings at dentist !
good luck, love to all lil ones..

Breast pumps
I am using a medela pump to feed my baby when I am out. The medela breast pumps are really a good choice for the working moms. We can pump the milk regularly and can store it and use whenever needed.... - dalewhither [View Message]
evenflo elan breast pump
Buy this pump! It’s made my life so much easier. I always got sore with my old Medela Advanced, but that never happens with the Ameda Purely Yours Breast Pump. What really makes a difference is its ease of use. It’s really easy to switch between pumping phases and take apart to clean. Strongly recommend it for all mothers that pump daily.... - stellatylor [View Message]

HI Gayathri,

I used the puzzles, the wooden blocks for alphabets and numbers.... - Sheetal [View Message]
try this
As we discussed earlier in this forum I used magnetic alphabets , through which he has learnt alphabets within a week. And number within 4 days.
It is as like take the letter and stick to it where ever he goes more and ask him to search a particular letter. this worked very well for me.
all the best... - Manju [View Message]
