Hi,

I applied lot of lotions during pregnancy to prevent getting stretch marks. But I still got them after delivery. I stay in US, Can anyone suggest me any remedy for getting rid of the marks available here.

i have got a mark on my feet. the mark is 7 years old and now its increasing day by day. i feel echi sometimes and using many medicines but its not improving at all. it use to be white and now its gone pink. i can't wear sandles because of that and my feets are gone black. reply me on this add if u have a sollution to make my feet alrite . bye

bye SK replied. From what I have heard strech marks are heriditary.....some get it some dont. Cocoa Butter helps. Your body has undergone tremendous change so it needs time to come back to its prestate. Give it time and meanwhile enjoy your motherhood. som replied. try using vitaminE oil as it helps to lighten the stretch marks but not completely elimiate them.hope this helps u.

For Stretch Marks, the best thing to do would be to apply some Cocoa Butter, there is Palmer's Cocoa Butter which you can purchase anywhere, but make sure that it's the real stuff! Also you can use Nivea's Q10 Firming Lotion for diminishing cellulite and making skin firmer. What also helps is that you maintain a adequate exercise routine. Especially for your abs and lower back. B/c that if you build on your abs, then the marks will diminish b/c your skin is becoming firmer. Here's an extra tip, especially for post-pregnant females! The target for most injuries in women are due to the back, and as age advances as well as after birth, bones density begins to decrease, so therefore, it's important that you exercise, and take Calcium supplements to avoid future problems.
