Hi Archie nd all,
This time iam very confused with my periods, last month i had my periods on 16th(feb)nd for the first two days there was litterally no discharge i saw only two times when i went to bathroom nd wipped, that to it was brown in color nd very less, after that on day 3 i had bleeding (i shd say normal coz i used 2 to 3 pads)nd again for the rest of the days (ie,4,5nd6 )it was again brown color discharge nd very less,nd stopped.
i went to gynic nd asked her about this she told me that this is normal nd she asked me to go for some blood tests (cbs,freet4,th,nd progesterone level)on my 7th day post ovulation so this month i went for them nd the results were all came out normal(-ve)nd my progesterone level was 10.she told me that i ovulated this month.
Again this month i got my periods on 14th(march)
but this time also same i saw brown discharge when i wipped with a tissue.then i thought my periods started but after the whole day nothing nd in the night i had again brown discharge very less. again 2day i had red color bleeding that to very less compared to last time nd then from 3rd day it again stopped only brown color discharge that to when i wipe so today is my 4th day nd i dont have any bleeding .
So my question is ,is this normal to have period like this only one day?
fyi, my periods are always reggular nd i'll have bleeding for atlaeast 3to 4 days.
plz archie nd all share your comments .
thanq in advance.

what was the day when progesterone showed 10? If that was 7th day after period, it was too much of hormone at that time. should be less than 5. Only after ovulation it should increase.
nonetheless if you ovulated in or before 7th day then you don't have long follicular phase and may not have large amounts of endometrium this might in itself explain less bleeding or short periods.
It's not concern.

progesterone level 10 was after ovulation ie 7th day after ovulation
(my LMP was on 16th feb nd according to that my opk showed +ve on my cd13 nd i gave a blood test on cd20 so at that time progesterone level was 10)nd again my period this month came on 14th(march)but very less nd lasted only one day as i said in my previous post.
i hope you got my point archie.
Expecting answer from you nd thanq in advance.
