hi everyone..

i got my blood reports and everything is normal.. even my blood sugar levels are within range post lunch.. it was 104 when the normal range is 80 to 140... but there' s a trace of sugar in my urine.. is that a sign of gestation diabetes? i have my doc' s appt in 2 days and will ask her about it but in the meanwhile please let me know if i am at risk for GD?

thanks for the info.. my doc said a ' trace' of sugar in my urine is not bad coz my levels are within range..

was worried coz my sister had GD and there are chances of 1 having it if her mom or sister have had it..

Hi Riya,
Even I had my blood check up, I had no traces of sugar in urine. But my blood sugar level was high i.e 152. My doctor told that is pregnancy induced gestational diabetes and will settle after pregnancy.He also told me that still your blood sugar is not so high and he has put me on strict diet(no medicines needed now) for 15 days to rule out the diabeties and again i have to go for GD test after 15 days. Lets see what happens ! So i don' t think you may have Gestational diabeties as your your sugar level is withn the limts.After all Doctor is the best judge . I think he will guide u better .Best of Luck !
