Name: Pallo Upto what age a baby should be given oil massage before bath? My son is 17 months old and I am still giving him massage with olive oil before bath. Is that okay? Please advise.

Massage - Is it necessary

I feel massage is not harmful for the child in any way. Think that as you feel relaxed after a massage even the child feels the same way. I have 2 boys,the older child was given massage for almost 2 years and i will continue to do so for the younger child

I still massage my 20 month old daughter with olive oil before bath! Its more convenience that parents stop massaging their kids but otherwise its not harmful.
