Hi friends

Please help me on this simple question... How much is 1 tablespoon??? i want to know in terms of a formula scoop or in gms, or any other unit you know.
I have read that in every feeding we should give 3tbsp of cereal.

Hi Manisha,

I never cared about tbspoon .As what i am doing is now mixing 3 Oz of water with quantity for 3 oz Formula (like 1 1/2 spoon as given in formula direction ) and then putting cereal in it .I am checking the consistency of the cereal by myself.It should neither be so soild nor too liquid...

That's my style :)...

Wow..thats difficult to explain..if u have formula tin, the spoon in the enfamil is almost one tbsp. or level the biggest spoon u have in ur cutlery set (if u have bought here)..don't know how else to explain.
u can take a guess (like my guess would be one full cap of pepsi (big bottle) would be half a tablespoon..hehehe...i am smiling when i write this..my friends helping me out.)
i would say take 4-5 spoonfuls and let ur baby decide..they will let u know when they are full. :)

one tablespoon ( TBSP ) is equal to 1/2 FL OZ . You can buy a measuring cup from K mart or Walmart Kitchen utensils Section - Purex is the brand name . Or Check your medicine cabinet you may have a tiny measuring cup with liquid cold and cough medicines .
