Hi,
I am 14 weeks pregnant. During my 11th week, my doctor in US did an internal examination and also did a pap smear. The pap smear test was slightly painful for me but it was bearable. Recently I have seen that once in a while (only while I am at work) and especially if i am doing too much of sedentary work...I have spotting (a small spot) ...whereas if i am active and move around the office I am fine. At home or while we go to malls, I have never seen any spotting. I was recently diagnosed with urinary infection and I have been taking ampicillin for this. I finished the entire course of 7 days. I also had a ultrasound done in the 10th week and everything was normal. Is there any concern?

Dear firstpregnancy,
spotting is normal but try to avoid strenous work that results in physical stress leading to spotting.
uti is common and good that you treated.
No, there is no concern as long as you take enough rest and there is no gush of fresh blood.
