Hi,
....My periods were skipped by 7 days.....as I was trying to conceive I thought I might be pregnant....but unfortunately I got my periods yesterday evening, i.e.,on the 37th CD......this has never happened to me...my periods were always regular. And I had painful cramping.

Is it possible that I might have conceived and miscarried..??
Now how do I count my CDs....as this time I have got my periods pretty late.....I usually ovulate around 13th to 15th of CD....but I don't know about this time......please help me...I was really hoping to be pregnant..... Archie replied. Jaya,
I was confused with your faint line result that you bearly considered to be positive and had to get stick close to your eyes.
In my opinion if you were postdate with reference to menses and had that observations then two possibilities were there, either you had minimal hCG levels or indeed those were evaporation lines. Evoporation lines was the possibility I explicated when I replied. although it was a remote possibility of you being pregnant the poor hCG 3-4 days post menses date is not an indeed good sign. It's good that it ended early stage, would be difficult on you because it wasn'e healthy pregnancy.
Do not break your head on whether you were pregnant or not, that just will make you more anxious and upset and work negatively on next coming cycle. Now what to do is your choice.

having said above, usually cycles do flucutate when ttc but not all the times. You may get next cycles regular like the cycle before. You should continue to plan intercourse between CD11 to CD15 and should cross fingers for luck thereafter.

yes the stress is an enemy, you will be surprised but many couples I know they gave up on ttc and they found pregnant just in the cycle they gave up. Guess what, they never got pregnant when ttc because they were thinking too much and indirectly stressing out.

Archie Roshni replied. Hi Jaya, I also had pretty regular periods. But had once (almost a year ago)my periods skipped for 15 days. Tried 2 HPTs and even visited a doctor. She told once a year or so, skipping periods is normal, specially when you are trying periods tend to skip.

Medically Archie will be able to advise you the best.
