Hi everybody,

Well, i don't really know exactly what to say because I just got my period yesterday. I'm really frustrated because i used to have a 26 day menstrual cycle and for this month, its 2 days late and I really thought I was pregnant. I'm 26 years old, turning 27 this coming june. and my husband is 29 turning 30 this coming march. We are married for 9 months now and since we got married, we've been trying to have a baby. He's working abroad actually, a week after our marriage he went abroad for work and I just follow him last September. So, it means we've been trying it for 4 months now. i have never been in any contraceptives and my mentruation is regular. Please any consoling message from any of you out there that have the same problem with me is highly appreciated.....

Subject:  Ovulation Kit



Since you have been trying for 4 months its nothing to worry about. I would recomment getting a ovulation kit this will help you pinpoint when you are ovulating. You should consider going to a doc as any help will ease your mind and you will be less stressed. I wish you the very best. Take care

Hi Jerebeh!

Hey! Don’t worry it does take some time to conceive, I have also heard from people. We have been also trying for a month now, and I am close to my period date now, but I hope it does not come. I know it’s frustrating, but it takes time. Also, talk to your doc so that you have right guidance from the beginning. You will be asked to start taking Pre-Natal and Folic Acid Vitamins. Hi Jerebeh,
Dont worry. We too hv been trying since 3 months with no luck. It takes time for most couples. Its said its necessary for a couple to try for one yr and if after one yr theres still no luck, then start consulting ur doctor. So pls try for another few months and meanwhile dont take tensions and dont think too much abt it. Also u should know when to have sex. It shd be around ur ovulation period. Generally for ur 26 day period cycle, I suggest u have sex every alternate day from 8th day till maybe 16th day. Good Luck.
