Hi All,
I was just going through the Baby'r'us website and got confused about what to buy weather a separate car seat and stroller or travel system ?

Have you all done any research ? Do share your ideas on this ?

It is really hard to decide that what will be the best for couple of years.

Hi Ruchika,
I talked to couple of my friends who have had babies few months/ years ago and they recommend a SNAP N GO kind of stroller. It consists of a detachable car seat and a stroller frame. They recommend this for the following two reasons:

1) lighter and easier to handle
2) In case the baby goes off to sleep you do not have to pull the baby out of the carseat. Just detach the car seat from the car and fit it on the stroller and you are all set to go.

The approximate cost of this SNAP N GO syatem is arnd 60 USD, I think.

Hey Ruchika, one of my friends who has a 3 month old baby tells me that buying a car seat that can be attached to/detached from a stroller would not only be economical but also would last longer.

I haven't done any research on that so I dont know for sure.

for mom's with single baby, the best deal is to buy a travel-system. most of my friends have that instead of buying a car seat & stroller seperately.
