Infertility Solutions:Conceiving after TB treatment

Name: shweta kijwani I am a 26 year old woman, married in Nov 2008. After marriage, for 5-6 months we used barrier method. Then we started trying to conceive in July 2009. After trying for 8 months, we consulted doctor in March 2010. Doctor asked us to do following tests. My tests - CBC Hb, B. sugar F&PP, HIV-1&2 NR, VDRL NR, HbsAg NR, Torch Igm NR, Thyroid profile WNL, Urine R/M NAD, USG Pelvis for uterus. My Husband tests - Semen analysis, B sugar F&PP, VDRL NR, Urine R/M NAD. All my and my husband tests were normal. After that DNC was done and APTT & PT tests were conducted. Result of Histo Biopsy was - No endometritis. But PCR for Koch was positive. Doctor also asked to do Quantiferon TB gold test which was also positive. Doctor told me i have initial stage of TB. Then doctor started 8 months TB treatment on 28 May. For first three months, I took Rcinex, Etambutol, Pyrazinamide and Benadon. For next 3 months, Pyrazinamide was stopped. And now for the last 2 months, Ethambutol has also been stopped. This month is my last month of treatment. So except TB i have no problem as all my and my husband tests came normal. So what are my chances of becoming pregnant after treatment is over. How much time it will take. And what should i do to get pregnant as early as possible. Will i have to go through some more tests? Pls help me.

Read your post and am going through similar issue..Really depressed..what treatment are you taking and which doc u are seeing? AK replied. After your TB treatment is over Dr will do Bactec Culture of Menstrual Blood to rule out TB.Very often TB damages the falopian tube by blocking it & this stays after cure also. To check this you need to do HSG--whether both falopians are open. If not open, IVF is the only way. Otherwise you can conceive normally. One very good thing about you is that you have taken first steps in a very young age of 26. May god be with you always. bye

hi mg,
suneil kaushal will definitely help u.he has amazing confidence regarding his treatment. i was very hopeless before metting dr. kaushal.he has every kind of infertilty solution.
with God´ s grace and his medication we have been blessed with a baby girl(now 3 months old).i would highly recommend u visit mr kaushal atleast once and take his advice.
plz dont loose hope everything will be ok.

Pls Pls Don´ t lose hope

Hi All,

I wanted to share my experience with you all which would give you a lot of hope. I had uterine TB and my both tubes were blocked. And Doctor said IVF is the only option for me. I was totally shocked hearing this, but at the same time i didn´ t lose hope. I tried all i could do whether its any other treatment or belief in god. I went to Vaishno Mata. I also went to Kukke Subhrimanya temple in Bangalore, as i had read on internet that this place has some divine power. And seriously when i went to Kukke, i felt very stong positive vibes. And very next month i got pregnant.

In between i also took ayurvedic treatment from Dr Sunil Kaushal in Vasant Kunj Delhi. He is great person and everytime, he was 100% sure that i would get pregnant. I just started his medications and in the same month i got pregnant. And now i am 6 months pregnant.

I don´ t know whats the actual reason. I think, its a miracle.

So pls pls pls pls don´ t lose hope and try everything you can. now with this i m 100% sure that if you try, everything is possible.

HI CJ,

After taking ATT, dr carried out endometrial biopsy and unfortunately tb was detected once again. So dr has started treatment again for 3 months with a new drug. Also before biopsy, hsg was done which showed both tubes blocked. Dr is saying once TB is treated successfully, we can conceive by IVF or laproscopy. BUt i m not sure whats the success rate for laproscopy, so would prefer to go for IVF directly.

I am taking treatment from Sonia Malik in Delhi. How about you? Pls tell me which dr you are referring and what is the status of your treatment. It wll really encourage me.

After your TB treatment is over Dr will do Bactec Culture of Menstrual Blood to rule out TB.Very often TB damages the falopian tube by blocking it & this stays after cure also. To check this you need to do HSG--whether both falopians are open. If not open, IVF is the only way. Otherwise you can conceive normally.
