Archie is very much right about the Neural Tube Defect. It is caused due to insufficient folic acid. So go ahead and have folic acid. Don't worry. Cheer up girl.

Dear Lucky girl,

Don't call yourself unlucky. Sorry to hear about the loss but God has a plan for everything. He wants you to have a healthy baby so don't worry about anything. It is good to have folic acid tablets 3 months before pregnancy until the end of the first trimester. You can also have food that have natural folic acid - like spinach, bread, orange, broccoli, strawberry, asparagus, peas etc. Wish you all the best.

try to take at least 1 mg of folic acid before getting pregnant and continue taking almost throughout pregnancy or atleast in first trimester.
it's known that depletion of folate can lead to neural tube defect.
