hi all can someone help me i am expecting my 3rd baby 2nd one was C-sec and i didnt have enuf milk can i do sumthing to increase milk production from now itself? please someone do reply coz was very distressed last time and baby did not pick up weight properly at all.

First of all, please donn be under any stress. It is easier for others to \" expect a baby boy\" but what matters most is what YOU think. so let alone other' s expectations.

With milk, follow CK' s advices of eating healhy and continuous BF.

Concentrate on \" a healthy baby\" and not on a \" BOY\" , am sure your firm mind will keep the baby healthy and will help you in natural delivery.

also sabu dana soaked in milk ... soak it in milk for some time whne it swells drink try not to use sugar as u need to drink this 2 to 3 rimes in a day ... unnecessary intake of sugar is alos not good ...if u have milk intolerance u can add in plain water and have ...but mind u in plain water and nothing added it may taste bland

sudha ck replied. You can take chamomile tea. You get those tea bags in the market. Kalpana replied. I would recommend, continuous feeding to the baby. The more the baby sucks, the more milk production.

Also, you could try mother' s horlicks from now on. I can vouch for that.

Also there are few granules available (some kind of health drink, i forgot the name) that helps to increase the milk production. But I would recommend that only after the child is born.

Kalpana ck replied. From my experience I have seen, the more you feed from the beginning consistantly the more milk you' ll produce. With c-sect ususally mom' s will have difficulties initially to cope up with BF after delivery. Once they miss couple of feedings when BM starts coming in, it gets difficult later to produce milk. With normal delivery it will kind of fall in place as a routine. So don' t give up even one feeding. If you think you have milk and the baby is not hungry, pump it and freeze it so you can use it later anytime and it will keep the milk production up without a break.

Also you need to eat healthy diet. Methi, dill, chamomile are few things that will increase milk prodcution in diet. Try to add it everyday if you need to give it a boost. I wish all your worries be gone.
