Hello, can you pls advise how I check my ovulation dates ? For example my period in January started on the 6th of Jan lasting around 5 days and in Feb started 1st of Feb, lasting around 5 days. How do I know the ovulation dates and best time to try for a baby ? Thanks.

Subject:  Ouvulation dates



The ovulation is generally the mid point of the cycle. For example if your cycle is of 28 days, 14th day would be your ovulation day. The first day of the period is considered as day 1 (in your case 6th Jan is Day 1 and upto 1st Feb, its 26 days) so your ovulation would have been around 18-19th Jan (Day 13-14). Another way of monitoring ovulation is the consistency of our white discharge. It is the thinnest around ovulation.
