I am also in the same boat, today I did my 1 hr GD test. It came out to be 168 , pretty high. Now I have to go for 3 hr test.
since last 15 days I had been eating quite a lot of sweets :( may be becoz of that it is higher now :(
I am already on throid supplement, I dont know whther I can control my GD thru diet.
What you gals are eating to control it, indian food? Doc gave me american food chart.
WHat should I avoid now ....
Suggest me Pllllll..

Hi Pinki,

My nutritionist told me to eat something every two hrs and no sweets , and very little of rice and potatoes. I think the key is to eat all the green vegetables and fruits( but less of bananas and grapes).
I hope this helps.
I have to go for my blood sugar on monday I hope the diet I am following helps.
