Hi Tejal, Aloika and Sheetal are right they are fun to watch, espcially in later stages when u can view the features of ur baby clearly right in the womb ... but wud liek to let u know that they will also cost almost 3 times the normal sono ... so plan it and try to take ur hubby along so that he too can have the pleasure :)

hi tejal,

4-D scans are fun as you get to see ur baby' s features, legs, hands more clearly. It looks very real!! I have had many 4-D scans uptill now n it was a bliss to see my bubs:-)
but i agree with sheetal tht it will be more fun during the later stages as our babies will be more bigger n developed..
all the best:))

Hi tejal,

I went for a 3D sono in 2005 with my first one. Usually, these are fun scans, not covered by the insurance. And its recommended to go after you finish 28 to 30 weeks coz by then, the baby is much better developed and you have a great view of his face and hands and legs.
