Hi All,My husband and i are having the same blood group ie B+ and few days back i was told that i may face some problem in conceiving and carrying the baby..thera re high chances of miscarriage.

second thing even if i successfuly carry and deliver,it will be 100% boy child wehreas my husband has a strong desire for girl child..

do u think its true??

most of the part is correct with reference to what Mita said. here is a little correction of her statement on blood group and complications.
If father has Rh-ve group that's B-, A-, O- should not make a difference to conception of delivery. if mother is O- then there is high risk and with B- or A- some risk provided the baby tobe born is Rh+ve. In that case, regardless what Rh status could be of fetus mother with Rh-ve blood group os offered an injections to overcome problems during delivery.

if a mother is Rh-ve and baby is Rh+ve then antibodies get mixed and then can lead to miscarriage or death of baby in future pregnancy. The condition is called Rhesus incompatibility.

there is no way blood group of spouse would help choosing babys sex.

You have absolutely wrong information. First of all, the problem arises if either one of you has a negative blood group ( that too, can be taken care of with medicines, by the way). Since you and your hubby are B+ve, u will not face ANY problems. (I hope your and your hubby's blood group was checked in aproper lab). Secondly, dear only the hubby's sperm determines the sex of the baby. No one can guarantee a boy or girl!! and definitely blood group has nothing to do with it!!
