Hi Supriyasanoj & Ashwini,

I read some of your messages, where you talked abt behaviour therapy.
Could you plz tell me whats that?
My son is 19months old..And he can just speak 4-5 words that too not very clearly.
Should I worry? I have not checked with his ped yet. But, my elders say that therez nothing to worry. Also, as you mentioned, my son also cant concentrate upon anything for more than 2-3 mins. Same as yours, he will be playing, listening to songs and as soon as something goes wrong, he will go out of control..start crying, screaming..
I dont know if this is age factor or a problem.
Plz share your thoughts.
Thanks
MG

I dont know much about Behavior therapy, because my son got into Early childhood Developmental Delay that includes speech therapy.
Your child does say a few words at 19 months,so dont worry,Read him stories aloud and sing to him, take him to library and story time and have get-together' s with parents and kids of same age.
your pediatrician will be the best one to suggest what to do.she will know your child better and will be able to tell you what to do.
Kids when they get to toddler phase they usually throw temper tantrums....its a very normal thing.when he does that take him in your arms and talk to him...he will surely cool down and listen to you.
Just talk to your pediatrician and she will be able to help you better.
post me back if you have further concerns that i may be able to help.

Speech/language delay - 2.3 yr old boy
Hello Everyone

Our 28 months old boy is not speaking simple 2 or 3 word sentences yet. He speaks a few words such as mama, papa, aunty etc but definitely not more than 10. Also, he doesn't understand slightly longer sentences, even when we speak slowly and enact it such as "we'll go out after we eat". Otherwise, he appears perfectly normal. Shoranur kerala samajam Ayurveda hospital review
Hi All,

My son is less than 4 and has been diagnosed to be on the autism spectrum. He is non-verbal. We are taking him for OT and ABA/speech therapy.

Meanwhile, I read about an Ayurvedic hospital called Kerala Samajam hospital in Shoranur. Has anyone gone there for treatment? Any reviews?

Hints for Nursing
Babies eat and eat and eat. Although nature has done a pretty good job of providing you and your baby with the right equipment, in the beginning it's almost guaranteed to be harder than you expected. From sore nipples to tough latch-ons, nursing can seem overwhelming.
