Name: Nick

Hi
My baby boy almost 5 months and hardly has any hair on his head .Whatever little he had at birth it fell off due to his rubbing on the back of his head. Now all the hair he has is in the front that too very thin :-(

Hi Nick,

I would not worry too much about it. For the first couple of years a baby's scalp follows erratic patterns and it will grow in as soon as you give him his first head shave. Baby hair is usually fine thin hair and you should just rest easy on that one. Do however check if he has any cradle cap, and if yes, apply olive oil a couple of times and it will be gone.

Hi Nick,

Arnav is also having the same problem. He don't have enough hair to cover is head even :)
We will be having his head shaved in a month or so .Hope then it will be fine..

How is Ayush doing.Arnav is becoming naughty day by day..Can't leave him near pillow or sheets .He always puts everything over his face and starts eating them..

Take care,
Nikki

Hi Nick, I totally understand your situation. My baby is 5 months too, he was born with so much hair..so much!!! But when he was 2 months old, he had cradlecap and he lost ALL his hair. I was feeling terrible and sad. But now since it's all gone, his hair is slowly growing. So,Don't worry at all. All babies will shed their hair and re-grow again. So,don't worry at all. Don't u think that our cuties look even more adorable with the \";simpsons\"; kinda hairdo ;) Good Luck!
