my date is nearing.. 14th august.Baby s head has fixed now. I am on the chubbier side. I ve put on around 9 kgs totally..do u guys think i should ve put on more???? and how soon delivery will follow after head fixing?

sometimes i feel there are pulsations.. dhal dhak kind palpitations going on in my womb... as if a heart is beating there.. does anyone feel the same>?

Hi Supriya,
What did your doctor say about arrival of the baby? I' m 38 weeks and my doctor told me that the baby' s head has got fixed so it could come in anytime within next 7 days or so.

Hi Sweety,
Doc said that nothing can said specifically.There are cases where labour has followed soon after head fixing and there are cases where head was fixed almost a month before delivery.
So how are you feeling. I am in my 37th week. whats ur weight gain?

hi chaithra,
During the 36th week baby head descends into the pelvis. After this the baby cannot move as freely as before. So it only kicks. Thats how you feel strong kicks.... This is a good sign for normal delivery.
I hope i cleared your doubt..
So which week are you in and when are you due?

Hello Supriya,

Its nice to hear that the head has fixed. You can expect the lil one to arrive in 3-4 weeks time. I guess your weight gain is okay as long as your baby has a healthy weight i.e., 3 - 3.5 Kgs. So, dont worry :)
