Hello All,
It's been so wonderful sharing about our babies. There are few concerns I have about Neel.

Neel will be 4 months old tomorrow and he hasn't started rolling as yet, he is much better though when put on his tummy, he holds it for a longer period of time now but doesn't roll over. Are you all having the same concern or is it too early for me to worry?

The milk intake has reduced drastically, he doesn't want to eat more than 2 oz in one go, as a result I have to keep feeding him, he gets easily distracted when eating, looks around, smiles and laughs , does almost everything but eat.

When are you all starting solids? I started cereals but have not been regularly.

Your views would really be helpful to me and all the concern mothers.

Happy diapering !
Lakshmi

Please do not worry if your baby doesn't roll over, my baby hasn't either, she turns on one side, goes a nice curve with her body..babies do everything naturally and when they are ready. Some will in the 4th month others in 6-7 months and immediately sit and crawl..wouldn't push them or worry. If u observe they learn new things everyday all on their own.

At this age, think babies ideally should have 4-6 ounces /3-4 hours but my baby has her own moods, sometimes has 2 ,sometimes 4 ounces..but she knows when she is hungry so we don't force her if she doens't want it and her weight shows she is growing fine.

As for solids, will be trying after 1-2 weeks will be 4 and 1/2 months..trying rice cereal a few tbsps , 90% of her feed will still be breastmilk and formula.have to be regular with cereals..takes time with babies to get to know to eat solid food..have to be patient.
Thats all that i know..from all my friends experiences would say all babies are different and will reach their milestones at different times..u can encourage them but don't push them..and don't worry either (unless doctor says so..) till then hope u all have fun watching babies growing so fast everyday..
Take care
Radhika
