C-Section:Laser Hair Removal

I have been doing my laser hair removal( facial ) for the past 8 months and i am about to finish the treatment. I would like to know if the treatment can be done during pregnancy. I am currently 8 weeks pregnant. Please help!!!

Hey Isha, I too was very confused about the same issue. I got pregnant half way through my laser treatment. But after consulting many doctors, i was advised its ok to go ahead with it.It doesnt affect the baby at all , if you do it on the face or neck.But dont get it done on abdomen area.I got 2 sittings done in 2 trimester and now am planning another one in 3rd trimester.

hi Isha

I was in doubt too just like u. My dr. said that its fine to get it done. According to him laser dosen't have affect on pregnancy but pregnancy can affet the treatment. Since your hormones are wacky at that time.
I hope this helps but u should definitely ask u r ob/gyn.
