hello everobody on this board
iam 22 years old woman and i got married when i was 19.we want to wait for our first child untill i complete my post grad.by then i will be 25.but one of my friend said it will be problem for me to conceive because my husband sperm count will go down after 5 years of marriage as he ejaculates them everyday and then even if i concieve, the baby may not be healthy as his sperms become very weak by then.i started worrying about this.please anybody tell me if this is true.should we have a baby immediately?or can we wait until we reach our goals?iam not mentally or physically prepared to have baby now as iam still student and have minor health problems which i want to overcome by then.is it ok if we wait?or will we face any problems in conceiving or having a healthy baby?please reply me

I am NOT a doctor, but I know for sure that there is absolutely no problem in waiting in your case. I am sure that your friend has incorrect understanding. - Sunny

As far as I know, I dont think its true that the sperm count will reduce. But still if u want to make sure, its better u ask ur gyn about it and he/she will be the best person to clear ur doubts. Dont make any decision by listening to anyone, even though it may be ur friend. Ur doctor is ur best friend in such matters. All the best.
