Hi,

This is my first pregnancy, i am into 27th week. I have shorten cervix by 2.5 cm, can anybody helps to find more info on this, as i am very much scared about my baby.

U need to take rest. Avoid prolonged standing or even sitting posture. Even when u sit keep ur legs elevated. Dont sit cross legged

hi,
same thing happen to me also... my doctor told me to take bed rest with little bit of foot end elevationin the cot..also to drink lot of liqued..better consult u r doctor and take advise from u r doctor. there are some precaution to be taken to keep babys health if it goes for pre term..

Hi Lavanya,

I' m sorry to hear that..It means you are at an increased risk of preterm labour and your cervix is getting wider because youre body is getting ready for birth soon.Please stay in bed..(no work,shopping,walking etc)please take complete bed rest and if u notice any bleeding,call ur doctor asap and take good care of your health,eat well and and keep hydrated.

don' t take much tension,try to read some good religous books or even can listen or read Vishnu Sahasranamam.

i haven' t done it but i heard about it. it is similar to ultrasound but much more clear. u will actully see the baby than just a figure. one of my friend did it. there is a fee for it.
they can even show u the gender very clearly than ultrasound. it is done around 20week.
