good to hear about laya weaning at ease.
yup i got it done on rathyatra day. it was all same like you all mentioned,so didnt bother to write the same thing again !

the only good thing that happened was nirja was in sleep when it was all goin on. also i woke her up earlier an hour in the morning than her usual waking time,,and made sure that she had a really busy day until noon.
i had no other way since my dh was out of town and i wanted to get it done the same day.
i didnt let her sleep since morning and took her to saloon at 430 noon for piercing. and she was deep asleep by 430..
i made her markings in the ears and then they put the numbing lotion and then after 10mins it was pierced..all in sleep !
she doesnt know..that it has happened to her.
when she wokeup in the evening at 6,i gave her tylnol & her evening snack.

since she had a nice sleep in noon, she was fresh enough to get busy with her toys.
next day she realised that she had something in her ears :)) hehe,,she was touching it and she forgot it once i diverted her mind to other things.
they gave a gel and asked me to wipe the earlobe every 4-5hours to prevent infection,,and i followed that for some 3-4 days,,then i left it. i am also turning her earings every day morning and evening,,when i do that, it makes her tingle she starts laughing,,

now she touches her earings and then mine :))she compares ! typical girl.

so that was all my experience !
