I have not started solid foods for my baby yet. He will be 4 months by end of this month. I heard and also our doc suggested to introduce solid foods only from 6 months. Babies need to have strong digestive system for them to take solid foods. If you ask me, I will say you can wait for one more month and till then you can give formula as supplement.

I am also going to India on Mar 3rd and I am not quite to sure what to take. I guess we must take these.

Diapers
Wipes
Medicines for illness
diaper rash oitment
toys (need for travel)
teethers
pacifiers
2-3 blankets
Wash cloth
cap
bottles/disposable bottles
Formula
Stroller
2-3 clothes for baby/sweaters/socks
1-2 clothes for u (just in case)
Medical Reports of our baby (copy - take many copies and keep in all the baggages)
Bottle water / hotwater
Travel Changing pad

do let me know if you find anything that I am missing.

Hi manvi,

Iam going in lufthansa on 2nd march from Boston.I am going alone with my baby and iam very tensed about flying alone with manasa.Hope she will not give much trouble.So anu when are u planning to come back?.I am coming back on june 28th.

Hi Kals,

I have got only 3 weeks vacation, so will be back with my in-laws on March 27th.

Do take some year buds or cotton for Manasa in the plain. ALso as you are travelling alone, don't keep other hand luggage other than your babies stuff. Keep your hand luggage short.

Have a safe trip.
