Due Date Club July 2005:pancakes for pridu.

Name: Hetal

this is how i make it.
1 tsp of wheat flour(since i have already introduced it),1tsp rice flour, barley flour, corn flour, milletflour, gram flour,a pinch sprinkle of wheat germ ( i have introduced that so i give),soy flour (basically all flours that i have introduced so far),,or you can get multigrain flour or whole grain flour in the walmart..now its pretty much available...
i didnt want to buy it, because i dont trust packs when it comes for babies.
add milk to the consistency of thin paste, sprinkle some cardamom(i give that so i put it),and a lite salt with some banana puree(for a lite sugar, if you want to put sugar, its ok)..
mix all well, and the make small pancakes.if you have a good nonstick, and when really hot,you wont require ghee or butter or oil for it,,or else ok to put a bit ghee and make the pancakes..
once done, let them stay in your baby fav fruit puree for a while as babiees dont like dry food much,,once soft offer it.

about pastas,,boil them or pressure cook them upto 4-5whistles with really good water and some oil(some pastas stick when cooker cools,,to avoid that, put very lil oil)..
saute semi boiled or boiled vegies to your baby likings, with some salt, some parsley flakes or coriander flakes, some italian seasonings(if you have introduced),,and put pastas in it..
other is pasta and cheese,,take any sharp cheeses, let them melt in pan, when nicely melted, add some milk, sprinkle some italian seasoning and mix it nicely...
also, you can replace white sauce instead cheese, on weekdays i dont give cheese to nirja, she eats with white sauce on weekdays. put someghee, addsome flour(i use soyflour),and let it roast nicely, add any seasonings if you are giving.. add milk or water to the consistency just right enough for pasta to get soaked in it.
add pastas, and let it cool...
take care, good luck
Regards.

Breast pumps
I am using a medela pump to feed my baby when I am out. The medela breast pumps are really a good choice for the working moms. We can pump the milk regularly and can store it and use whenever needed.... - dalewhither [View Message]
evenflo elan breast pump
Buy this pump! It’s made my life so much easier. I always got sore with my old Medela Advanced, but that never happens with the Ameda Purely Yours Breast Pump. What really makes a difference is its ease of use. It’s really easy to switch between pumping phases and take apart to clean. Strongly recommend it for all mothers that pump daily.... - stellatylor [View Message]

try this
As we discussed earlier in this forum I used magnetic alphabets , through which he has learnt alphabets within a week. And number within 4 days.
It is as like take the letter and stick to it where ever he goes more and ask him to search a particular letter. this worked very well for me.
all the best... - Manju [View Message]
