It was a long long battle after 5 years of our marriage. Frustrated, desparate, with back to the walls.And the gloom of repeated failure along with drainout of meagre savings accentuating the depression of both of us.

We both had a problem. My wife having PCOS and uterine TB and myself being diagonised as a case of Oligospermia with very low count and motility. Sure case for disaster. Further, several doctors were suggesting several things and our treatment going nowhere including undergoing microsurgery/IUI and innumerable semen analysis.

Then as a last resort we went to Dr.Sonia Malik in 2008 and after detailed treatment of my wifes uterine TB(Men Oligospermia cannot be cured)and uncountable injections on her body, with trepidition we went for ICSI during August 2009. And fate smiled on us. In the first attempt of ICSI my wife was found pregnant. It was a long tortorous time after that with lot of gynaelogical care , USGs and after all this we were blessed with a baby boy this May.

We are immensely thankful to Dr. Sonia Malik/Dr.Vandana/Sister Sherley/Dr.Kavita Katoch/Dr.Ved Prakash of her team who took utmost care within our budget to make our dream fruitful.

PS- We have seen atleast 6 1st attempt cases succesful including us on the day the ICSI took place.

Total cost of ICSI including medicines around Rs.1 lakhs and delivery cost Rs.60K.

Hi,

We have been trying for two years and are now planning for IVF. can anyone suggest which doctor is better Sonia Malik or Abha Majumdaar. We fear the exploitation that lot of doctors do with unnecessory test and several IVF cycles... please let us know and share your experience with these doctirs

Congrats!!Good to hear this good news. I am new to this forum and this is my very fisrt post.
Could you pls provide Dr Sonia Malik' s address? We are also married from aprx 6 yrs and my hubby has low motility but my test are still not done. So i want to start all investigations now and take some decision and opt for some procedure.

Also what all tests were done for detecting PCOS and uterine TB?

Please provide the details asap.
