Hi there Vidhi.....
Good to C Ur reply.....Am in the 29th week. My EDD is Feb 26... Eagerly waiting for the same...... After the delivery I suppose the sugar level will get back to normal and am gonna eat everything I can :-)) Rt now am having a hard time with the diet am following...... Will B Cing a dietician in case there is a necessity.... Have to wt till I meet the Doc...
Meanwhile....Whats happening with U? Hope that U got the results and U dont have the risk of Diabetes I suppose..... Lets hope for the best.Take care of Urself....

hi Shannu!

Yep ! I got my results yesterday imm. after I did the tests...But I've to show this to my doc after 2 weeks when its my next appointment...The nurse was v busy yesterday but told me to restrict the diet or else its gonna be a prob. during delivery....
hey I guess we'll be due date buddies..my due date was initially 24'th..during next scan it was b'ween 25'th to march 4'th..Hoping everything goes well...right now my 29'th week is going on...There's another wud be mommy (dipi)who's also in the same boat!
dont worry shannu..I know its difficult..I'm too worried ...But we've to stay positive or the little one inside us also will be worried ! Its only a matter of few more days...
btw, have u started your shopping?

hi vidya wondering why you are asking about gd !! did you get yourself tested.well like you have been told reduce the quantity of rice eat more chapatis,cut out anything sweet like sugars,jams ,butter.sweet fruits like mango,grapes,chikoo,banana no biscuits,drink plenty of water,eat skinned chicken in little quantities,lots of salad and fiber ect .drink only skimmed milk ,laban,and low fat yoghurt.walk if you are allowed to.that should do.did you get my mail at ur hotmail id would love to hear from you before i leave.wishing you all the best.love always

hi deepika!

thanks for the list ..it wud be very helpful.. I tested for gtt yesterday and the nurse warned me to be very careful abt the diet ..I've to meet the doctor in another 2 weeks time..so will know how serious gd is...I'm sorry yar I didnt see mails these days as I had severe back pain..will check soon..during last visit, doctor asked me to take 2 calcium tablets and it does help a little...well, I had watery vaginal discharge too and I had to check whether its aminotic fluid . thank god the result has turned negative...also had/have painless BH contractions ..so just tensed these days...

take chapatis,meat,avoid sugar,take plenty of water,no rice,sour yoghurt,no sweetmeat.if you follow this i hope u will be ok.whats the actual weight of an indian baby shud be??

Ok debi,will give a try..can I take chicken/prawns(I dont eat regularly..just in case if I eat once in a while, I want to make sure it doesnt harm)what's sweetmeat? Is milk ok?my doc. asked me to take lot of milk for backache.am just worried what to eat and what not to..
I guess healthy baby shud weigh 3.5 kgs..but above 3 must be ok I guess,not v sure dear!
