Sorry for being so out of touch but i have been out of state interviewing&will be tied up until March.Glad to know all the babies r doing great!Siddharth is good too almost 3mths now just that he has started getting constipated.I feed him regularly except for 2 feeds of isomil Soy/day,recenlty started.I think this is responsible for his constipation,when i talked to his Ped he didn't seemed concerned at all.But just want to know do you'll know of any desi remedy to help him as i think if this continues he may lose his appetite. Though I don't believe in gripewater my Ped said I cld try so gave it to him a couple of times but it hasn't helped.Poor guy !Thank u for replying!! sumana replied. Hi,
U can try gripe water if u have .....1/2 bottle cap in 1 oz warm water will do the trick...when kaustubh used to skip pooping....i gave him this ....now he is regular .....and even now i give him gripe water twice a day , since formula was making him lose his appetite.

Hope u are doing great wiht the interviews, must be difficult to go out of state leaving ur baby...do ur best though, later on work helps to freshen mind..DOn't worry about the constipation, the first time anu didn't go for 3 days i was sick worried, doc said breastfeeding kids go thru' this, if they are not crying and feeding well u don't bother. My MIL says raisin juice is good, some say warm water helps, have tried both but think anu started being reg. when her body was ready..even nowadays she skips a day in between. if they are peeing fine they are relieved.
I don't know much about soy products. I have given anu Enfamil Lipil 2-3 ounces one feeding, not had a problem so far..though if formula is given stools look different.
Just give ur baby a day or two i am sure he will poop and beleive me if poopy comes after a long gap u will have a lot to clean up and still be relieved..:)
Safe i found was warm milk..u can try bringing the legs to his chest to help him go thru the ordeal if he is trying to go..as told by my nurse.
