Hi Archie this is sammy . this is my 2 post to the message board . u guys are really great thanks a lot for helping .

im very disappointed today as i got my periods . iwas hoping i will be conceived this month but it didnt happen. we are trying since 2 months for the second baby. i have a 3 1/2 yrs daughter .
im 29 yrs old and my husband is 34 yrs.
i have a regular 26 days cycle . just for ur knowledge i got my periods on nov 1, nov 27 , dec 23 and jan18 .
we started planning for the 2nd baby after nov 27.
we had intercourse on day 13 just once . so that month it didnt happen . then dec month after my peroid i,e dec 23 we had intercourse on cycle day 11, 12 and 13 only once each day . it didnt work this time also .

i m not able to understand why i didnt conceive .
i havent used any OPK or BBT . i go by my cervical muscus method. Please suggest me as i badly want to conceive this month .
Please suggest me when i should do intercourse on specific days .
i havent taken any precautions after my first baby was born no pills and contraseptive or condoms . we do the withdrawal method .

you should intercourse from CD8 to CD12.

I am in a similar position with a son 3 yrs old. I also used only the cervical mucus (CM) method until now. This was my first month trying the OPK and BBT. You will be surprised to note that the CM method is not the most reliable as we grow older. I am 32 which is older then 29!

This month for example, my CM was very abundant much before a positive on the OPK. I learnt a lot about my ovulation by using the BBT. I suggest you try one or both methods. I found the BBT to be a pain since I had to fix the time of waking up in the morning.

I am not sure if I will get pregnant at the end of this cycle. But it has given me a good clue what to do next month.

My best wishes. You are still under 30 which is great. Those of us 30 and above are under added stress! Most importantly try to enjoy the process. Getting unnecessarily worried will work against you.
