Hi all,
Yeah this lil fellow completed 20 months yesterday..Its been exciting and exhausting ride so far.Things have gotten much better now..He is nto a very tough kid to manage but has his moods some times..
His recent activities are talking , making friends , helping mom and making some mess..hehe !! yeha he talks a lot of words..Ojjanja for orange, Aboplane for aeroplane,thanku ,how u(how are u),heyoo(helloo) ,aunty, daddy, mammi-are his new collection.he talks in senstences and god alone knows what hes explaining,Wehn sri calls from hotel Sid talk to him for 15min before handing me the phone..
He helps me by throwing clothes in washer, removing dishes from dishwasher and getting teh phoen as soon as it rings.When he makes a mess, he tries to clean it up before i start scolding him..heheh !! He has started reading books on his own,he just sees teh pics and recognises somethgs..
Loves to take a bath in the vening and loves to Swim(play in swimming pool)and loves to dance to Himesh Reshamiyya;s songs..He likes waterng the plats, watching the birds and talking to some of the old neighbors.he has become the neighborhood grandson now..
his shaitanis-well jumping clmibing,doing things if u say NO and so on..The other day we wnet to Target and Sid started saying Hi to the Cute girls in the store.They were surprised and so were We..He says Hi to all the Goris and smiles,does do the same to the indians..patha nahi kyun..I take him to the park everyday in the evening and he lays with other kids(somtimes)
Sid is basically aLoner, likes to play alone doesnt even need me to play with me..She sleeps for almost 12 hr at night ,rarely wakes up once.Afternoon has a nap of 2-3 hrs..
Food-he loves food but we sud change it everyday..hates carrots and RICE..If i make pongal he eats..picks veggis from pulav and leaves rice behind..so i m giivng him pasta and macaroni these days-loves them..Likes green veggis brocolli,peas green beans anythgbut no carrots for him..eats coupls of fruits a day.Loves ghee but dont know where it goes!! he doesnt gain a lot of wt, just Lamba hotha jatha hai..
well to pass time with him, in the morning he wakes around 8:30has breakfast and then plays by himslef,At 10 :30 watches ELmo for abt 45min and i finish off cooking..Then we have lunch at 12 and he goes to sleep at 12:30-1pm.sleeps for 2-3 hrs and once he wake up its time for hsi snacks and bath..Then rhymes and story book time and then time to go to the park..we come back around 8, he has dinner andthen goes to bed..So all in all we play talk and play again..hehehe !!
Sid si drinking milk from a straw cup once n a while ut still likes his bottle..I sometimes put him in the tub and he does Pi pi..So not yet started potty training ..
hmmm looks like i have typed a lot !! hehehe !

Hats off to both of you for having such a good schedule and all that. Sleeping at nigh for 12 hours.. Phew. Kichu stil wakes up twice -once to drink milk and we still have to rock him to sleep. Does sid sleep on his own? (As in: does he go of without your help)Nad Kichu sleeps only at 11, gets up at 7 -7.30 and naps for about 2 -2.5 hrs during the day. I'm worried now, whether he's sleeping enough? Do you give him horlicks or something just before bedtime?

I so wish we too have a park close by. My colony in Hyd had one and Kich used to love it. Here we cant even go for a walk,as the roads are so crowded.

Thank god fr Sanj's easy work timings now. we take him to the museam park and he runs around (even if its 9 Pm)
