Hi dears!!

I have missed all of you like crazy over the last two months!! Congrats Maurni (Hope you're doing well)!!

We are in Trivandrum (kerala), where Sanj 'suddenly' got a good offer. Since i was already jobless and this being closer (actually at) home, we just grabbed it. I came here by May 22nd (got a check fare and preponed without any notice, sorry vani, that i didint call you) and Sanj came by June 3rd week.

Kichu is a terrible/terrific toddler and gets me into fits of rage, tears and laughter through the day... Fnding a house and unpacking was all by myself and that took 3 weeks! Then Sanj came and Kich wqouldnt go to him!! I had a tough time...

And in the middle of all this - Weaning. I've done it!

I've read the last ten posts and am glad to see all of you and the little ones doing well... Kichu is enjoying this place (much more than i am). The zoo is 1.5Km from home and there are 3 beaches within 10 kms. I've got a lady maid, who does the cooking/cleaning..

He throws terrible tantrums and can be very ziddi. And sush, i think i'm gonna be covered in puke soon too.. 'coz he;s started doing the prelims. My pe'd here (who's also a close relative) has asked me to walk out of the room, before the 'performance' gathers momentum.. He also bites and hits me.. That really pisses me off. Feel like whacking him, but am not going to.

He favors Idly with oats and/or mango puree to anythings else. and I end up feeding him cereal at least once a day, 'coz he spits rice, dosa, roti...And now, he clings to his dad and gets really cranky when sanj leaves to office..

Donno if i'm more happy being at home or when i was working.. They're two different feelings i guess.

I'll now sit and read all the other posts and will write more later. Big Hugs!!

Tia has stopped puking !!!believe it or not..she is in this day care where each time she begins to puke they get this huge trash can and sit it right under her and everyone stops and stares at her..it worked the first day and now each time she begins I just have to tell her if she wants the trash can to throw up and bus its gone !!I'm so thrilled !
She freaks swimming in there and amazingly loves \";eating\"; there..b'coz noone \";forces\"; her..so she is existing now only on fruits..she eats only those at school..all her other tiffin boxes come back full..

Thanks for the tips. Its so funny to hear Kich sleeps hearing Raj Kappor's songs. My daughter also sleeps listening some selective songs..Esp Yesudas's clasical songs. These kids!So naptime weaning I can manage. Daytime I can distract her somehow I believe .I am scared of the night weaning. Cant handle the middle of the night screaming.She wont go to dad too.

I have heard of chenninayakam too..I am in US. I have to try something which tastes bad..

Good to hear from you. Good that you have weaned your son. I am also planning to wean now. I am desperately in need of help. How did you do it? Stopped cold turkey? Let him cry? How about night wean? My daughter nurses unlimitted times now and she wants whenever I am sitting or lying down. Hubby goes to office and I will be all alone at home its so difficult. Any tips would be really appreciated.

Send a mail with ur new Id when u get time,I know getting time is not so easy being at home as we have to be around these kids always.
I only come before the sys int he afternoon when she sleeps,which is not like before when she was months baby.
Now she needs lot more attention ,so i don't get time for myself also.
Wanted to meet U and Vani when i would come to Hyd but now both of u have moved out.
I am going to HYd in Sept.
yashu has picked up alot vocabulary but not started speaking in sentences.She 's grown thin also bcs she fusses over food a lot.and if she doesn't get wat she wants bangs her head right backwards in that sitting position nomatter wat ever is behind her.
