hii.i hav curly hair..but thy r quite unmanagable..quite a mess..can u plz suggest me sum ways 2 tame them??i want 2 maintain the curls, but want them settled..
also plz plz tell me abt sum gud hairstyles fr my kind of hair..i hav long hair..want 2 maintain d length..but want it settled...not those puffy types..

u can do rebonding to make it soft and manageable
Anita replied. I have below the shoulder curly hair too. It used to be frizzy and unmanageable. One day a guy gave me a layered cut. Probably the best thing ever. It really helped with the poofiness. And now, all I have is a layered cut/trim every 3-4 months. For curly hair folks like us, we don' t need to trip our hair often like others.
You have to give curly hair lots lots of moisturizer. Try a leave in conditioner. I use Frizz Ease products and some salon products. They work for me great. I found that serums are best for curly hair, it really helps to give that ringlets of curls without weighing it down. Another tip - oil your hair down with some warm coconut oil and wash your hair with shampoo (leave out the conditioner)
Don' t do any crazy hair cuts. Curly hair has so much going on it own that you don' t have to give it anything. I went through some crazy times when I had a fringe, bangs etc. None of it suited me. I looked like I was stuck in the 60s !.
Nowadays I just have a good haircut and wear my hair loose, or I put it up with some curls going lose, or tie it back loosely with a scarf- not too severe on the face.
