i´ m actually from TTC board. sorry for posting my query here, but just thought u all are the best to advice me on this issue.
we are married for 4 years & i´ m 26 yrs old. we started TTC from past 5 months.i have never been to any gyn for any kind of check up till now.today i got my periods & i´ m very depressed about it.as u all have gone through this phase & now out of it successfully i need ur suggestion on how to go abt it.is it normal to fail for 5 months or does this indicate i have some fertility problem?should i consult a gyn now or shld i wait? plz, help me. any advice from u will be highly appreciated.plz if u all have any good tips on incresing the chnaces of conception, plz let me know. thank u all so much in advance. hope to receive ur help... mitsi replied. hi sunshine, i am from connecticut, and we tried for full two years, By God' s grace i am 8 weeks pregnant now, and it' s still difficult to believe it. The only thing i would suggest is to keep faith in urself and God and do not take any kind of stress, ask ur hubby to ensure completely that u r far far away from any kind of stress. swetha replied. well i am an eight weeks first time pregnant female. my conception was assisted. I was more or less in the same situation before. We tried for the baby atleast for a year before my gynea decided to take some action. Its a good idea though to get urself tested for certain things before u even plan to start a family. Ur gynea will suggest certain tests. But its also good that u convince ur husband for some tests too. In my case, though i had undergone all the tests it took me 7months to convince him to take a semen test. Anyways the good part is we came to know the problem at the right time and he cooperated fully. And the result: i am carrying a twin pregnancy in my womb. So all the best. i can understand this.before this i was geting tensed for everymonth periods... even it was for just few months. though everything will be normal ther canbe few factors which can make us wait for longer time. anyway go to doctor... make the hormonal tests... if everythign is normal... come back here.. there can be few tings... which i can suggest... for the normal healthy couples..... in my experience. tina replied. Don' t worry. It' ll happen when it is the best time for the baby to come. Gos decides! I too was facing the same problem but finally last month i was confirmed positive for pregnancy. i had undergone all tests at the doc and so had my husband. Everything was normal but it was just not happening. in the bargain i used to feel really upset and miserable. That' s when i made up my mind to forget thinking about it. The dr. had suggested us to go in for an iui, but we didn' t want anything artificial to be done. So we ourselves decided to go in for a follicular study to pinpoint the exact time of ovulation. And this clicked the first month itself. It may take in afew more months for some but we were lucky.
You don' t need to worry as the average time for ttc is around a year. But if you are yet disturbed about it why don' t you go and get your routine hormonal tests and sonography done? Nothing to worry. The baby will soon come. I' ll pray for you.
