Due Date Club October 2007:I´ m nervous!

This is my first pregnancy and it has happened afetr 8 long years. So, i am really excited and very very nervous too. I keep feeling scared that nothing must go wrong! i am 5 weeks pregnant and just done my progesterone tests to see the level. It is fine.
Unfortunately my gynac too is on a long vac and this makes me all the more scared.
Please advise if any extra care has to be taken!

everyone' s already said things i wd' ve wanted to. i am also in my first pregnancy , edd oct 11.

i was just wondering that if your gynae is on long vacation, can you find a back-up gynae, may be someone you' ve heard of from someone reliable - so that wd ease some of your stress abt the pregnancy ?

thanks for your encouragement Sweety. You too take care and enjoy your pregnancy. Your two kids have such a close age gap that it is going to be exciting for them as they grow. what fun. Tc and i too will get back to you whenever i need to ask anything!

Yes, it was a normal conception. Went in for sonography to exactly know the date of ovulation...and by God´ s grace it happened.
Had gone to the dr. this evening and she has suggested progesterone shots to be taken for a month after which we shall do a sonography to see the status of the foetus. Just precautionary because she does not want any complications later. Also because my progesterone levels are borderline normal.
Just pray that all goes well.

hi tina,
i can understand ur condition.i have a baby girl who is now 3 yrs old n that time i too was scared all the time as i had a miscarriage before her.
dotn worry about anything (i know its easier said than done)but try to relax by doning ur fav things.take ample rest ,dotn lift anything heavy,eat well everthing will be fine.
so plz no worries keep smiling n u can always share ur problems here in this board

i haven' t done it but i heard about it. it is similar to ultrasound but much more clear. u will actully see the baby than just a figure. one of my friend did it. there is a fee for it.
they can even show u the gender very clearly than ultrasound. it is done around 20week.
