Thank you Archie for ur reponse.
Cud not wait any longer and did the hpt this morning, got a positive result!!!!
Both lines were pretty dark and the result was visible within seconds.
We are so happy!!! Been calling home(only our mothers) to let them know.
Will make an appointment with my famliy physician to get a blood test done this week.

Accept my heartiest congratulations on this news !!! Its a wonderful experience...i tell you...I can understand it feels great to see the positive result.

Do take care of yourself....and fix up an appointment with your gynec asap. In the meanwhile you can start prenatal vitamins( available over the counter). As Archie always mentions, do not eat salad, eggs, or anything uncooked for the first few weeks. Only eat home-made & properly cooked food.

Keep us updated and enjoy pregnancy:-).

Hi ST, Congrats on the big news! I am sure you must be thrilled to see the +ve result. Now take care of yourself and read Archie's comments for girls who are pregnant. Like drink lots of water, eat healthy, and take rest. Are you taking any prenatals or folic acid etc? I am sure your doctor will prescribe the multivitamins.
I am also pregnent and got to know about it last week only. It will be great to share thoughts and concerns on this board.
