Sending Tia's food schedule..Thanks Vani to contribute..Tia loves idlis and calls them \";moon\"; but I dont' really know how to make them.Pls send the receipe for them.
Tia is still on the bottle for milk..ANYONE ELSE ?
Breakfast:Whole wheat bread(1 slice) w/butter/cheese/jam.
Midmorning:dry cereal/1 small banana/1/2 big banana
Lunch:roti-subzi(roti is usually enriched w/methi/palak/pumpkin/anything..
after nap:cut fruits
dinner:rice-dal/subzi

since Tia is allergic to egg & egg products I need to get some more ideas on protein ..anyone w/eggless cake receipe?

Sush-Rishu is allergic to EGG, WHEAT, SOY and MILK..yes, believe it or not he cant eat much or should I say nothing. You can substitute egg with egg substitutes-just make sure they dont have any egg protein-I use Arrowhead Mills brand or Red Bob's Mill available in Shaw's Wild Harvest section or Whole Food's which has more choices. Cheerybrrok Kitchen sells egg mixes which are eggless along with cookie mixes too. I am very well informed on all this because of Rishu's allergies so if you need more info call me/email me and I will be more than happy to share it with ya..

Beans and lentils are good source of protien. And idly which is made with urud dall is rich in protien too. You can feed tofu too. Its pretty bland in tatse. I just fry it in little ghee/coconut oil with a saly and peepr and mix it with rice and feed. My daughter loves it.

You can just boil beans like chick pea, Rajma, Soybean, Green gram white beans with black eye (My dd's all time favourite)with a little salt.

I just put it in her tray in the high chair she eats it of her own ofcourse with a lot of mess.

Thanks for your suggestions.I do try it esp w/the beans but I have to smash them slightly b'coz I really am scared of Tia choking on them.I know she does not always "chews" food.
I am worried about her nutrition if I leave things on the tray because I know it just doesn't reach her stomach..I know she is trying t be independant and wants to feed by herself but food doesn't always reach her and then she gets all hyped about the "playing " aspect.
Anyways will try phir se..

hi all

why all of u r so silent. i know everyone are busy with kids/jobs etc. but still try to rebember this ip site and we all will be in touch sharing the milestones of our kids.
