Hi all,
Hope everyone is enjoying their little ones.
Have few queries!!
1) Aditi's nose gets blocked.We put saline water from time 2 time as recomended by my ped,but sometimes dirt gets accuulated.What is the best way to remove it??
2) When can we start exercising after a c-section?
3) When is the good time to start solid food?

Hey Anu, with a c-section, doc's suggest not doing any heavy exercises till about 3 months... but if you doc say's it's ok, depending on how you are healing you can start light exercise after your six week postpartum visit.....
Do check with your doc...

and dont worry about cleaning Aditya's nose.. they have a self cleaning mechanism - sneezes.. moreover, their insides (nerves and such) are quite sensitive and us doing the cleaning is not recommended...

Solids, like hemani said can be started between 4 and 6 months....

Hi Avi and Hemani,
Thanks for the input. hemani aditi is 2 months old now. Now she is only on breast milk.
I will check with my doc about the exercise. Haven't visited her yet.

how are ur babies doing? BTW hemani i am in bangalore.

my sons nose also remains blocked,where do u live?my oc in delhi tells me that it is fine and the discharge is normal
ihad a csection too-so will find that out
solids-how old is aditi? normally juices and all 4 months, and solids 6 months
