im 28 married for last 2.5yrs and trying since past 2 yrs.. we supposed to go in for IUI this month but my scan denoted 16*20mm cyst in my left ovary.. doc had stopped with the treatment and given oral contraceptives for this month and asked to come for the next month cycle to see if the cyst had dissolved and only then the treatment can continue.. has anyone come across this situation.. will the cyst be cured with medicines alone.. please help.. we have tried with soooo much all these 2 yrs.. please help.. im totally confused.

hi alka i was surprised about 18x20 cyst whtudy.infact during my wrk up i used to wait for similar size when my doctor advised hcg injection for ovulation.take second opinion from some other doctor

If it is a simple or clear cyst then this is the ideal treatment option. If the cyst does not disappear with the pills alone you may require a laparoscopy.
