Due Date Club November 2003:losing weight

Name: Suma

Hi!
Hope everybody is enjoying with their little ones. Pranav is doing a new thing everyday and watching him everyday(every hour) is the awesome job on earth.
My question is I had a c-section and I have to lose 20lbs to get back to pre-pregnancy weight. I haven't started any exercises until now. The main problem area is the tummy. I am eating well since I am breastfeeding. The only thing that comes to my mind is walking and ab crunches. other than that I have no clue. Does anybody know what kind of exercises reduce the tummy especially after a c-section?

Take care and have a great time with ur little ones.

Hey Suma, ab crunches are the best way to trim that tummy...as soon as you get the ok from your doc...
your doc should make sure your abdominal muscles did not get seperated during the pregnancy before you start doing any abdominal exercises.

I've had a c-section and the belt has helped me a lot...I need to wait for another month before I start any rigorous exercises..

Hi Suma

I had a normal delivery, and I have been using the abdominal belt since 2 weeks after delivery. Its safe to use for c-section after you have healed completely. I am back to my pre-pregnancy wt. but my tummy is still loose and out. Soham is also breastfeeding exclusively so I am eating well too, infact I feel hunger pangs like I've never felt before! Dont cut down on your diet, it is essential for both you and the baby. And dont worry too much about the wt., you definitely will be back to your normal self in due time.

Hi! vandana!
Thanks for ur reply. I am not even thinking of cutting on my diet(while breast feeding). I can understand the hunger pangs. oh, God! I have never felt this hunger before(not even while I was pregnant). I will definitely try using the abdominal belt. I am not worrying now regarding the weight but
I just want to know what exercises reduces the c-section tummy so that I can start those exercises slowly.

Diaper Service Provider,Bangalore
Hi,
Does anyone know if there is a Diaper Service Provider in Bangalore? They generally provide cloth diapers and replace them with a new set every 2-3 days.

Thanks in advance
