I am living in Mumbai and after trying some IVF - I have been told I need a donor egg. Does anyone went through this experience ? How to select a donor egg and how to find a donor egg ? Anyone here being willing to help ???
As everyone might think : we are looking for an healthy and good looking donor egg - doctors or agency may be tell you about the healh of the donor but not the features ... how to do then ??? That' s somewhere scary for me .

You should understand the difference between egg sharing and egg donor.Egg sharing from some other cannot be term as egg donor, because egg sharing is also taking the fertility treatment from the doctor, and her hormonal profile is also equaly disturbed.I know there are some centre who manage this service. Shared Donor eggs

Hi.
My doctor in Mumbai did donor IVF said it was some eggs from an on going IVF patient and that he gave part of my money to her so she did not have to pay total IVF amount, this is liked coz in getting her eggs i helped her.

What i dont know is if she really did get my money or not.

That aside, i would like to know more about the disadvantages of shared donor ivf as my cycle failed due to some tube problem i had.

If you are looking for an Egg Donor why not call some of the IVF clinics in Mumbai and they will tell you if they have their own Egg Donors. All Egg Donors are medically checked before they donate so no need to worry. The clinic will advice you accordingly and answer all your questions.

We used an Egg Donor and have a baby daughter.

However IVF /ART is such a business here that you can´ t even not trust doctors or agency on the donor profile they are showing you - since it is anonymous ...I heard such awful stories ...But glad it was successful for you.

hello, i can help you. the only thing is i am in the uk, I am coming to india at the end of the year for ivf myself, maybe they can take a few egg extra and let you have them although i am white with green eyes and blonde hair?. Your inquiry on donor eggs

Ask your fertility doctor for a list of past donors who were successful (the recipient got pregnant) and then look for the highest quality and number of eggs produced. Only after these criteria are met should you look at the background, physical attributes, education etc. If the cost is as high in Mumbai as it is here in Florida, you want to be able to acquire as many good eggs as possible (you have the unused ones frozen for future cycles.) Receiving an egg donation is not as physically traumatic as you might expect. You are given lupron and then your cycle is put in sync with the donor by using lupron and other hormones by pill, cream and/or injection. I got pregnant the first try and had boy/girl twins. G-d is good.

Regarding Donor eggs exactly u were right but First thing we need to check the health of donor.
and regarding there features i heard some centers provide the photos of donors and we can discuss about that.
But to my opinion i am not sure how much they provide us such things.
I read this in some websites.

I am also looking for donor so did u talk to anyone i.e centers in India or to agencies, if so can you please provide info for me which is really appreciated.
