We are married for 8 years and have no children. we wish to adopt a child less than 2 year old. Due to family preference, we wish to adopt a brahmin child from India.


replied. i find it disturbing to read about childless couples and their long wait & endless desire to bring a child into their lives. It must be so hard to know that you are childless but certainly not so hard that you cant pick & choose what you want. Funny how those who lack the ability to have a child often seem to have no idea on what unconditional love is. Preferably a Brahmin. What a silly request, how does that change things? The child would learn from you & would naturally assume the role of a Brahmin and no matter their origins this is what would occur. What does caste have to do with things? Will you treat a lower caste child differently? I very much doubt it. You will love the child no matter the caste. I just wish that these childless couples could smarten up & realise that the perfect child can only be their own & that will be what ever child that comes to them regardless of caste. Parenthood isn't something we are all gifted with & those of us that need adopt are the luckiest of all because their family is the product of long struggle and even more love! nribaby replied. if you adopted a child wouldnt he become a brahmin by adoption ?
