Hi, i was just happened to see so many articles regarding IVF treatment in India. As a person who had undergone 2 failed IVFs in reputed centres and then concieved naturally I have few suggestions for all of you
1) Always try to get informations from the people already undergone treatments from the centre you are trying to take treatment
2) Ask mainly about the genuinity,credibility,truthfullness and trasperency of what they do.
3) Dont go to a centre where they show undue hurry for procedures and no councelling regarding treatment,
4)When you are into IVF treatment doctors can do whatever they like with your embreos, so go to a centre where they explain how many eggs they got after aspiration and how many fertilised ect.
5) always ask for a second opinion when they suggest expensive procedures( which i didnt do in my case proved very costly for me.)

Let me tell my experience very briefly. We were married for 5 years no child. we decided to go a infertility specialist in Madras, well known doctors, after few tests and laproscopy she gave some medicine didnt work. we were desperate also so she told me about IVF. She told me about the cost and good success rate(which was inflated).But in my case it was a failure and my wife have to undergo painful procedure. the mental trauma was the worst thing.
Next we tried in Bangalore. the experience was similar and that was also a failure. then we lost all our hope and was concentrating more on our work. we use to look at the couple with kids and look at toyshops and still thinking about a baby. atlast we have decided to ask all possible people regarding infertility treatment.
from one of my friend I got to know about craft hospital in koduganallore in kerala. that we can stay and take compleate treatment there. so we ve decided to give last try. first consultation they have done few tests and told me regarding the treatment options. the doctor told me there is not much of problems with both of us. He told me just to try for few months and advised regarding the weight reduction. so with great hope we left the place and tried for three months.But god was not kind enough. So we went back to craft, the doctor again was not willing to do IVF but advised my wife regarding weight reduction and come back. we again tried reducing weight and went back after 6 months but he told me the same thing. With great displesure and sadness we left the place again. I was actually verymuch irritated with the doctor at that point of time.but then we both decided to do regular exercise and reduce our weight. to our surprise my wife got pregnent after 2 months. Just by reducing weight we got all our happiness back. I thank GOD for this first and to the doctor who treated us with just advice.
I have collected many information regarding the infertility treatment(or cheating). so my sincire advice is to get in touch with atleast few people who is undergone treatment before you invest your hard earned money on it. thank you nnn replied. Congrats on your success. i am new to this site, just saw your post. can u please let me know your wife' s age and her weight and how much weight she had lost when she got conceived.

Also please mention which center in madras you visited and which doctor.
Also i need one more info.pls. what was the actual problem for which you had to go for ivf- i mean was it something with the follicle not growing or something else pls reply. i am also undergoing the problem and doc have advised me to reduce weight. i am 5.4 32 years and weight is 74. My problem is there is no growth in the follicle even after stimulation.
