We have been married for 2 1/2 years. Now we have statred planning for a baby. after intercourse some semen comes out of vagina. Also some comes out in the morning. I take pillow and lie down for 20 minutes after intercourse. Still it is happaning. Can this be a hindrance in conception? Does anybody know?

It's normal

Hi! Semen will come out for about 24 hours after intercourse - this is completely normal. The sperm that you need to fertilize your egg have already traveled up to your cervix, especially if you use a pillow to incline your hips after intercourse. Good luck! :)

Hi Saroj,

Semen coming out immediately after intercourse is not a problem.

About the semen coming out in the morning: Does it come out even after washing yourself? I am not sure about that. Also, I am not sure about the hygeine aspect of that. Archie or another expert will help you.

Thanks for your reply. It comes early in the morning may be twice when I go to pee. After that it does not. Do you know anything about that? Archie can you help me ,too? Anywone else?
