Hi,
Just read the messages about hiding the baies. My mom hides him as well in her lap when I drive and we cover the capsule as well..I am scared of well meaning angrezs who might see this and report it to the police..

Hi,
My boy Arjun also hates the car seat..He also hates his pram if we buckle him up ..don't know what to do.. We are assuming he will be okay once he grows up a bit.. ???

I am sure all of you will solve your car seat dilemma soon! Aditya used to be uncomfortable initially. Now we make sure his stomach is full before we out him in. That helps. Initially, he would cry at stop signs etc. So we would feed him...buy I don't like the idea..what if he gets used to it, or what if he is with just one of us in the car? So now what I do is if he is cranky before I start, I give him the pacifier for a couple of minutes..he calms down, then I remove the pacifier and drive. That has worked. Hope that helps

Hi Avi, Arshiya and Vindhya

Try the car seat at home with the babies.. Soham loves being rocked in the car seat and many times falls asleep in it. So I guess he got used to it much before we started taking him out, now he's quite comfy in it and does not fuss at all.

Hope this helps

Hi Vandana,

We did try that. She likes when we rock her but starts crying as soon as we stop, she wakes from her sleep as well. I used to rock her in the car, so the base has become loose now. I need to get it reinstalled.

Hey girls,

Ashna is also in the same group. She cries when we put her in the car seat but stops when we start driving. But, worst is that she even cries when stop at stop sign or at TL and stops again when we drive. We have been driving in the parking lot also when one is off to get something:) She cries when she is in the carseat and doesn't take bottle in the carseat. So, just like you guys only once so far I have taken her in my arms and tried to hide her (good thing it was night).
I was really laughing reading Vindhya's message about hiding Niya.
But for their safety they will have to learn to stay in it.

Hi Avi,

Niya cries too when we put her on the car seat, so we hide her on our laps. I am sure we'll get a ticket for that someday. More than that, I am worried about the safety as well.

oh my gosh!!!!!!!! we do the same...i hold on to him as tight as i possibly can...
and I haven't been wanting to take him out much becoz of that...but then if we dont, he will never get used to it...

I hope for their own safety's sake both Niya and Nikhil learn to stay in it..
I think the fact that they have to be strapped in is what bothers them...

Diaper Service Provider,Bangalore
Hi,
Does anyone know if there is a Diaper Service Provider in Bangalore? They generally provide cloth diapers and replace them with a new set every 2-3 days.

Thanks in advance
